Tony Harris is an American comic book artist who started in the industry in 1989. It wasn’t until 1994 with publication of DC comics’ Starman that he really started getting noticed in the comics world.
Harris and Starman co-creator James Robinson won an Eisner for the series. Harris worked on the book for four and a half years before leaving to pursue other projects, although he remained on as cover artist for over a dozen more issues.
Since then he has worked on a number of projects including Obergeist, JSA, Doctor Strange:The Flight of Bones, and Spiderman: With Great Power. Current projects include Ex Machina with Brian K. Vaughan, published by Wildstorm Comics and War Heroes with Mark Millar, published by Image Comics.
Tony was one of the original members of Atlanta's Gaijin Studios. His current studio, Jolly Roger Studio, is based out of Macon, Georgia.
