Aaron Douglas, best known as 'The Chief' from Battlestar Galactica and as Frank Leo from the new series The Bridge on CTV.

Canadian actor Aaron Douglas has made plenty of appearances in various sci-fi properties such as Stargate SG-1, Smallville, Andromeda, the Outer Limits, Dark Angel, I, Robot, Catwoman, and even the second X-Men film. But we know him best as Galen Tyrol aka the Chief from the immensely popular Battlestar Galactica series. As the series progressed, we found that the Chief was one of the Cylon sleeper agents as one of the Final Five.

After Battlestar Galactica ended, Aaron went on as the lead character Frank Leo in the new series The Bridge on CTV. The Bridge started to air on March 5th, and is about a charismatic police union leader who is battling criminals on the street while facing corruption within the ranks of his own department.

Aaron will also be in the upcoming horror film Blood: A Butcher's Tale, which is currently in post-production. Bllod: A Butcher's Tale is the harrowing tale of Sam (played by Aaron Douglas), a simple butcher who discovers that the love of his life is being seduced by a vampire.

Aaron is a rabid Vancouver Canuck NHL hockey fan and has been on skates since he was aged 2. Aaron still plays hockey and is selected by many TV and Film crew teams to play goalie. He can usually be found at Canuck home games screaming at the referees along with his close friends Dan Bacon of Stargate Atlantis, Dan Payne also of Stargate Sg-1 and Atlantis and Ryan Robbins of Atlantis and Battlestar Galactica. If you see him at a game he and the lads will talk hockey with you all night in exchange for a pint.
Aaron does a lot of work for charities and the majority of his efforts go to the Canadian Cancer Foundation and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
