Painter and Comic Book Artist on Sky Pirates of Neo Terra

Camilla d’Errico attained her Illustration and Design diploma at Capilano College in North Vancouver. During her schooling she started her first professional comic book work in 2001 for Committed Comics series Threads. Since then she has worked on Zevon-7, her creator-owned manga series, Burn, published by Arcana Studios, her own series Tanpopo, based on Goethe's Faust, Nightmares & Fairy Tales, published by Slave Labor Graphics, and a two part graphic novel, entitled Make 5 Wishes, for singer Avril Lavigne.

Image Comics is currently publishing the five issue mini series, Sky Pirates of Neo Terra, drawn by d’Errico. She is also slated to work with writer Grant Morrison on his creator-owned project The New Bible, to be published by Vertigo.

Outside of comics d’Errico is also known for her painting. In early 2007, she began showing her work in galleries across the US and Canada. She is a part of the Lowbrow art movement.

d’Errico has done illustration and design work for Ride Snowboards, Hasbro Toys, Wizkids, and Microsoft Zune for the Zune Hut at Whistler's Telus World Ski & Snowboard Championship. Her art can also be seen a number of merchandise lines ranging from stationary, handbags and clothing, to computers and phone skins. She also created a collaborative print with Neil Gaiman based on Gaiman's short story, How to Talk to Girls at Parties.

d'Errico has created a number of vinyl toys (including Hasbro's Mighty Muggs) and a plush based on the devil character, "Kuro" from her series, Tanpopo.
