Tricia Helfer 
Tricia was born in Donalda, right here in Alberta! She was raised on her family’s grain farm until she was discovered by a modeling agency at the age of 17. She won Ford Models’ Supermodel of the World contest in 1992, and has appeared in ad campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Chanel, and Giorgio Armani. Tricia’s graced the covers of Flare, Amica, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and Vogue, just to name a few.
Tricia hosted Canadian television fashion program Ooh La La, and was the host of the first season of Canada’s Top Model. She also co-starred as Sarah in the TV series Jeremiah, and had a role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s The Hunger Artist episode as Ashleigh James (a model!). In 2003, Tricia played the role of Farrah Fawcett in Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Charlie’s Angels.
But who are we kidding here? We love Tricia for her role as the seductive Cylon Number Six (and all her variations) in the new Battlestar Galactica television series. BSG was nominated for four Primetime Emmy Awards, and is regarded as one of the best shows on television. BSG is filmed in Vancouver, and will be entering into it’s fourth and final season.
Tricia also portrays Kilian Qatar in Ea’s Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, and will be voicing Black Cat in the new animated Spider-Man series.
